The Stadium in Paris, France
The roof made for Stade de France stadium for the Football World Championships held in 1998 has a beautiful elliptical shape and is suspended over the stands at a height of 42 m. Mostostal Chojnice both supplied and assembled 6,000 tonnes of steel roof structures for the project. The construction work lasted a total of 31 months and the project was completed in 1997. The stadium measuring 270 m x 230 m with a roof measuring 320 m x 280 m is the largest sports facility ever constructed by Mostostal Chojnice. |
